King Charles III: Jersey proclamation takes place

The proclamation of King Charles III has taken place in Jersey.
At 12:00 BST a special sitting of the States Assembly received the proclamation by Bailiff Sir Timothy Le Cocq.
A public proclamation ceremony took place in the Royal Square at 12:30, before it was registered in the Royal Court.
A 21-gun salute at Glacis Field will take place shortly, before flags will return to half-mast to continue the Queen’s mourning period.
Flags were raised to full-mast at 09:00 BST on Saturday in recognition of King Charles III’s formal proclamation.

The proclamation in Jersey was live streamed online and at several parish halls.
